This week we're talking to Liam Curran, a talent stylist who would love to give The Queen a blue mohawk!
Who are you?
I’m Liam Curran a London-based session stylist specialising in Fashion. I started my career assisting Guido and Sam McKnight doing shows and editorials worldwide. My work is now featured in publications such as Vogue, ELLE, i-D, Dazed & Confused, Wonderland and many more.
Which hairstyle gives you the most buzz to create?
As an artist I love to be as creative as I possibly can. I love effortless beauty, I love hair from different eras and putting a modern twist on them, I also love the use of colour and imperfections done in a beautiful way.
Do you have any memorable moments/ clients or events?
I always love doing shows at fashion week. I head my own shows now so it is a lot of pressure but I feed off that it’s a great buzz.
What’s your top tip for a A/W 2013 hair?
PUNK…super choppy and lots of volume and FRINGES are huge for a/w 13.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
From the diverse city of London, everyday people and the underground art scene.
