A Cut Above – Paul George Salon
The Cloud Nine White Touch Charity Day was a great success in salons across the UK, but there could only be one winner. Paul George salon in Cheshire blew us away with their efforts – well done guys!
We caught up with Angela at Paul George to find out more about the salon’s winning White Touch Charity Day on 3rd July and the heart-warming reason behind their fundraising for the Motor Neurone Disease cause…
Congratulations on being the winner of our White Touch Charity Day! How does it feel?
It is a great achievement for us individually and for the salon. We enjoyed the whole day.
What did you get up to on the day?
We decorated both the salon and in all white and wore shirts with the Cloud Nine branding on the front. The uplifting saying “Every cloud has a silver lining” was incorporated into our day to make us stand out too. We also made special cupcakes and anybody that donated received a goody bag from our wish tree.
On top of that, we also held a raffle and the main prize was a White Touch Iron. This helped us to raise more money for MND.
How much money did you raise in total?
We raised £180.
Amazing! Why did you choose to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease?
MND is a cause that many people are still not aware of. So we wanted to think outside of the box and choose a charity that we felt doesn’t often get enough help.
One of our clients lost her husband to MND, so the charity is particularly special to us. We wanted to raise awareness, while also remembering her husband.
We would like to thank everyone who got involved and we would like to thank Cloud Nine for giving us this opportunity to put the salon and MND out there.
Great work, Paul George salon. Your win was very well deserved!
