Bling up your barnet!
In addition to the official London Jewellery Week going live, we’re looking into better ways to jazz up normally ‘ordinary hair’ styles with some serious hair bling.
The upcoming London event features a whole host of jewellery designers ranging from well-known brands to up and coming independent designers - ensuring a multitude of representation to suit all tastes.
Whether you opt for the ‘hippy’ vibe with all-over gold jewellery (Nicole Richie style), or go vintage with big crystal clips (Lana Del Ray) adding sparkle to your hair can’t be bad.
Another big impact - big hair technique incorporates big accessories similar to many of Paloma Faith’s looks. If her style is a little too bold, how about adding simple clips like Dianna Aragon or Diane Kruger.
Adding jewellery to hair can make a powerful statement. Blake Lively adds sparkle to a simple side swept braid, while Cheryl Cole adds a touch of glamour to her hair with a blinging crystal covered hair clip. Why not use the Waving Wand to create messy waves or The Wand for tighter curls before applying your jewellery piece?
We really like how Jennifer Lawrence adds elegance and sparkle to a classic plaited twist by winding the jewellery into the hair itself.
