Wedding Hair - Our Favourite Celebrity Hairstyles
It is said that September is the most popular month for tying the knot, so with that in mind we’ve handpicked our favourite celebrity wedding hairstyles for 2014 as well as put together some tips on how to recreate them yourself!
Here are our most memorable bridal hair looks of 2014 so far:
Kim Kardashian – Long and Straight
Dressed to impress in a custom-made Givenchy Haute Couture gown, Kim Kardashian’s fairytale wedding was certainly nothing short of a spectacle, but a fabulous one at that! Sporting three stylish hairdos on her big day, her ceremonial style was by far our favourite. To recreate, use your Cloud Nine straightener for a shiny straight finish before center-parting your locks and tucking them behind your ears for a simple, sophisticated look.
Jessica Simpson – Down and Wavy
Wearing a stunning custom Caroline Herrera gown, Jessica’s infamous golden locks were pulled back in the front, falling loosely down her back under her veil. This elegant look is perfect for brides who don’t want a complete updo as you can leave a section of your locks loose without having to worry about it falling over your face. To recreate this glamorous look, use The O 60mm heated rollers for a blow-dry effect, pulling the hair back and securing with clips or an embellishment to finish.
Ginnifer Goodwin – Short and Sweet
The intimate and low-key ceremony had all eyes on the couple and of course Ginnifer’s signature pixie cut. Photographed on her way to her self-acclaimed “barefoot and pregnant” wedding day, it was clear that she’d stuck to her signature short style, which is cut perfectly to suit her rounded face shape. The versatile cut allows her to style with or without bangs as well as add height or some texture to the side for a vintage feel, which is just what she did for her walk down the aisle. If you’re considering going short on your big day, the Micro Iron is perfect for giving any cropped look an added touch of style.
Teresa Palmer – Braids and Beauty
Another mummy-to-be, Australian beauty Teresa Palmer chose the ultimate summer style for saying her I do’s, with her relaxed waves and braid. Her custom Pallas Couture open back lace gown blended perfectly with her chosen hairstyle on the day and was bang on trend with the latest Spring/Summer 2014 styles. Kaley Cuoco – Curly and Casual
Pretty in pink, both the happy couple and guests saw the New Year in together at Kaley’s fun and fabulous wedding bash. Pairing her Vera Wang gown with ombre waves for the ceremony, Kaley pulled her hair back into a messy ponytail for the reception, pairing it with a sparkly headband for a subtle bridal touch. The Cloud Nine Waving Wand is the ideal hair tool for recreating this look.
