We are so excited to announce that this April, to celebrate Earth Month, we have expanded our industry leading recycling scheme. 2021 is all about being Fierce and we are being even more Fiercely Kind to the Environment by adding Hairdryers and Curling Wands to our Straightening Iron Recycling Scheme. Plus, Marie Claire have recently named us the Best Sustainable Hair Tools Brand of 2021, after acknowledging our commitments to sustainability.
We launched our Straightening Iron Recycling Scheme in 2019 and since then, we have saved over 50,000 from landfill, which in weight is equivalent to two London Double Decker Buses!
But we’re determined to smash our goal to save 1.5 million Straightening Irons from landfill and why not throw in other hair styling tools too, given that currently 80% of electrical waste is shockingly sent to landfill. So, if you have old, unwanted or broken Straightening Irons, Hairdryers or Curling Wands, you can recycle them for FREE. We are the industry’s first and only recycling scheme, therefore you can recycle them for FREE, regardless of the brand or condition.
You can do this in 3 simple steps…
- CLICK HERE AND COMPLETE THE ONLINE FORM TO DOWNLOAD YOUR PRE-PAID POSTAGE LABEL.
- PLACE YOUR OLD HAIR STYLING TOOLS IN SECURE PACKAGING.
- DROP AT YOUR NEAREST POST OFFICE, WE’LL SORT THE REST
Plus, if you recycle your old hair styling tools by 30th April, you’ll receive 10% off your next purchase.
“The amount of e-waste going to landfill, paired with the lack of awareness surrounding the severity of this waste stream growth is concerning. We know that the hair and beauty industry needs to take action, hence our mission to lead the industry in becoming more sustainable through our commitments to recycling and more.
Expanding our partnership with LSS is an important step, as we can now recycle hairdryers and curling wands as well as straightening irons. We are supported by one of the UK’s most advanced waste management operators, so our customers can take comfort in knowing that our service is disposing of their old hair tools in a sustainable manner, which adheres to WEEE regulations.”
