Just a mid-wedding chop, no big deal! Melbourne couple Luciana and James married earlier this month after delaying their wedding three times due to covid. As if managing rescheduling and general wedding planning during a pandemic wasn't stressful enough, beautiful bride Luciana also pulled off organising the ultimate wedding surprise flawlessly.  

Luciana described how she had always loved the idea of getting the cut mid-wedding and knew husband James loved her hair at bob length - a style she had had earlier in their relationship. So planning the surprise chop as part of their big day began two years prior with her hairstylist Brooke Murray, knowing she wanted the new look ready for their honeymoon. Luciana said Brooke was the only stylist she would trust and that she had brought her 'A-game' for the day with the dramatic cut taking just 25 minutes to complete. Guests had no idea of the transformation that was taking place while their entrees were served.

Luciana gathered her bridesmaids together during the reception with videographer and photographer friends Merve and Frank to capture every amazing moment before the big reveal...
