Teamed with a slinky little number for a formal occasion or your hottest bikini for a day by the pool, a braided ponytail is the ultimate versatile style. Using our Curling Wand, it couldnt be easier to perfect.
STEP 1
Curl the entire head of hair using the Curling Wand. Hold the wand downwards to create more natural waves. Using your fingers, comb through the curls to loosen.
STEP 2
Take the top section of hair and create a ponytail around the Crown, leaving out the front sections.
STEP 3
Create a left side parting and braid the hair into a french plait, until you reach just behind the ear. Fasten a the bottom with an elastic. Pin the braid below the ponytail using grips.
STEP 4
Undo the ponytail and redo, incorporating the plait. Remove the elastic from the bottom of the braid.
STEP 5
Gather the rest of the hair into a second ponytail. Adjust the plait so that it is in line with the base of the ponytail, secure with grips if necessary. Take a small section of hair from the ponytail and wrap it around elastic band to conceal it.
STEP 6
Backcomb the top section of the ponytail to add volume. Spritz with hairspray.
