PLAITED PONY
For our second HQ Hair, we have the lovely Sarah showcasing us how to do a perfectly polished pony that you can take from Office to Party! A major favourite on our Instafeed Sarah trying to recreate this look:

HQ C9 Girl: Sarah
Department: Marketing/National Accounts
Hair Type: Thin, Medium Length, Oily

STEP ONE
Taking a tail comb, as neatly as possible part the hair at either side aligning with either side of your nose.

STEP TWO
Clip away the two larger sections at either side of the head and leave the strip in the centre loose.

STEP THREE
Section the hair into three and begin to Dutch braid the hair backwards. To Dutch braid take the outside pieces under the centrepiece, being sure to add more hair in each time. Continue all the way down the hair and secure with an elastic at the bottom.

STEP FOUR
Let down the two side pieces and spray with Magical Potion to protect from heat.

STEP FIVE
Using the waving wand on a low setting, curl sections of hair backwards away from the face. Continue until all the hair is curled. Set by spraying in some texturizing spray.

STEP SIX
Comb your hair back into a ponytail and secure with an elastic. If you can, try to twist the left side over to the right side of the pony and the right to the left. This will create a twist around the plait which will feed nicer into the ponytail.

STEP SEVEN
Comb your hair back into a ponytail and secure with an elastic. If you can, try to twist the left side over to the right side of the pony and the right to the left. This will create a twist around the plait which will feed nicer into the ponytail.

STEP EIGHT
Let the plait loose. Using the extra hair wrap around the elastic and secure with a bobby pin.
