The Magnetic Diffuser attachment is perfect for type 2 (wavy), type 3 (curly) or type 4 (coily) hair. Follow our step-by-step guide to achieve a bouncy blow dry using a Diffuser.

The Cloud Nine Volumising Attachments are designed to create a smooth, bouncy blow dry with long-lasting volume. They work best as a finishing attachment once your hair is almost completely dry, adding lift, shape and movement.

1: Dry your hair using the Airshot Pro as normal until it is around 80–90% dry. The Volumising Attachments are designed for finishing and styling rather than drying soaking wet hair.

2: Apply Cloud Nine Magical Quick Dry Potion before styling.

3: Attach the Volumising Attachment with the arrow facing away from your face on the side you are styling. Working with small to medium sections, hold a section of hair between your thumb and forefinger. The airflow will automatically wrap the hair around the Volumising Attachment. Hold each section in place for at least 15 seconds, then activate the Cool Shot to help set the curl and create long-lasting volume. Repeat on each section of hair.

4: Continue working through the hair section by section. For extra bounce, slowly glide the attachment through the lengths. Allow each section to cool completely before brushing through, as this helps the style set and improves volume longevity.

5: Finish with your preferred styling products to add hold and maintain your blow dry.

Top tips

• If you notice steam while styling, your hair is likely still too wet. Continue drying with the standard Airshot Pro concentrator before switching back to the Volumising Attachment.
• If the attachment feels less effective, the hair section may be too large and may be covering the air vents. Restricted airflow can activate the Airshot Pro's overheat protection, causing the dryer to switch off temporarily until it has cooled. If this happens, allow the appliance to cool before restarting. Using smaller sections allows air to flow freely and delivers the best styling performance.
• For the smoothest, bounciest finish, use the Volumising Attachments on hair that is almost dry and avoid overloading the attachment with too much hair at once.

The Airshot Pro weighs just 0.44kg, which is half the weight of the Airshot hair dryer. Its light weight makes it ergonomic and ideal for styling longer, thicker hair that may take longer to dry.

All Airshot Pro styling attachments are magnetic – just click them onto the front of the dryer.

To switch to Cool Shot mode at any time, simply press and hold the temperature button.

• Overheat Protection – reduces power above approximately 90°C, stops heating above approximately 100°C, and shuts the appliance down above approximately 120°C. This may occur more frequently when using additional attachments, as airflow can be gently restricted. If this happens, remove the attachment and allow the appliance to cool before reattaching. Your Airshot Pro should return to normal use once it has cooled.

• Voltage Protection – automatically shuts the appliance down at low voltage, approximately 160V, or high voltage, approximately 260V. The appliance will resume once the voltage returns to normal.

• Abnormal Operation Protection – indicator lights may flash and the appliance may temporarily shut down if abnormal operating conditions are detected. The appliance will restart once conditions return to normal. If this continues, please contact our Customer Experience team.

The Airshot Pro includes an automatic self-cleaning function, helping to maintain the long-term health and efficiency of your hair dryer. Follow these steps to activate Self-Clean Mode:

1. Carefully remove the magnetic filter and sponge. 

2. Long press and hold both the air speed and temperature button for 3 seconds. 

3. Once the cycle has been initiated, you can release your hold of the buttons. The cycle will last 10 seconds and will stop automatically. 

4. Use the Self-Clean Mode up to 3 times after plugging in your hair dryer. 

5. To use Self-Clean mode again you must unplug and start again.
