Step 1: Start with dry hair.

Step 2: Shake your CLOUD NINE Magical Quick Dry Potion heat protector spray to activate the lightweight conditioners, then spritz your hair to provide heat protection.

Step 3: Create a section at the back of your head, near the hairline and secure it with CLOUD NINE Croc Clips.

Step 4: Select the temperature on your wand hair curler using the temperature control switch. Temperatures range from 125-175°C. Style at lower temperatures for optimum hair health. Use the Temperature Calculator to discover the best heat setting for your Curling Wand.

Step 5: Wrap a section of hair around the barrel of your CLOUD NINE styling wand and away from the face, using the heat-resistant glove to protect your hand. Hold and release to let the hair cool.

Step 6: Repeat for each section of your hair. The barrel of the wand is infused with our signature healing mineral Sericite for optimum hair health. It works to seal the hair’s cuticle and lock in moisture for shinier hair every time you style.

Can the Curling Wand be used worldwide?
If you want to use a CLOUD NINE product internationally, simply use a UK to EU or US plug adaptor. Please note that our products operate at standard UK voltage (220v – 240v), which means performance can be affected in countries that use different voltage levels. To maximise your chances of styling on the go, we recommend checking your destination’s voltage before you make your trip.

What is the size of the barrel on the Curling Wand?
The barrel of the Curling Wand is 140mm long and 25mm (or one inch) wide.

How should I store my Curling Wand?
Your CLOUD NINE wand will keep delivering premium style for years to come with the correct storage and care. Only put your curling wand away when the barrel is cool and keep the plug away from the barrel to avoid scratches. Try not to tightly wrap the cable around your hair curler wand. Instead, gently loop it in the carry case. This greatly reduces the chances of wearing the inner wire, which is important because this kind of damage isn’t covered by warranty.

Does the Curling Wand have an automatic switch off?
The CLOUD NINE Curling Wand comes with an automatic switch-off function. After 30 minutes, the curling wand powers off to protect your surfaces from heat damage. Once your curling iron is powered on, the Auto button will be lit up blue. This means the temperature will be cut after 30 minutes, even if it is still in use.

Unlike our straighteners, the CLOUD NINE Curling Wand cannot identify if it is still in use. To disable this function and keep your curling wand running non-stop, press the auto button, which will turn off the blue light.

What’s the difference between the Curling Wand and the Waving Wand?
The Waving Wand has a larger barrel than the Curling Wand, so you can achieve different results with each wand. While the Waving Wand’s wide barrel creates softer, textured waves, the Curling Wand creates bouncy, shiny curls.
