How it works

Whatever the brand, whatever the condition, we recycle all old heated hairstyling tools.
When you decide it's time to upgrade to the latest hair health technology, simply send us your old hair straightener, wand, or hair dryer for free, and we'll send you a £20 discount code to use against a new product. Here's how to get started:

1. Complete the form below.

2. Download the pre-paid postage label sent to your email address along with your £20 discount code.

3. Place your old styling tool in secure packaging and drop it off at your nearest DPD drop off point.

4. Redeem your £20 Cloud Nine voucher when you upgrade to the latest model at cloudninehair.com.

Styling tool recycling FAQs

Our recycling service is available to all UK residents aged 18 and over. We do not offer this service to any firm, company or partnership. Please visit our Terms and Conditions for more information.

We recycle all hair straighteners, curling wands, tongs and hair dryers, regardless of the brand.

You can track your return during its journey to us with DPD. Due to the volume of returns, we are unable to provide recycling status on individual items once they arrive at our recycling centre.

You will receive your recycle discount code via email to use on your next order. Please note that the discount code cannot be used on sale items or in conjunction with any other offer.

Once your old hair styling tool has been received at our recycling centre, it will either be reused, repurposed or recycled. Our waste management partners collect your tool from our warehouse and take it back to their facility, where all items are manually depolluted. All parts that can be recycled are removed and separated before the items are shredded. The components are then broken down back into their raw materials and sent for smelting, so they can become new products in future.
